Dasios Lake

Located on the northwestern foothills of Mount Kyllini at an altitude of 1480 meters lies Dasios Lake. The lake is seasonal and only 10 minutes away from the Ziria Athletic Center. In the winter, it freezes over and you can even go ice skating! There, and throughout the Ziria region, the flora and fauna are impressive. Oak trees, firs, violets, mushrooms, and rare flowers and plants coexist with hares, rare birds of prey, cows, weasels, wild horses, and foxes.
